Very expected game when 9th ranked Takamatsu FA (1-22) was defeated at home by second ranked Osaka Evessa (16-5) 71-65. Takamatsu FA was ahead by 9 points at the halftime before a 42-27 second half run of Osaka Evessa. It was a good game for American forward Lawrence Blackledge (206-86, college: Marquette) who led his team to a victory with 9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import center Wayne Marshall (211-86, college: Temple) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Blackledge is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. STVn center Nyika Williams (203-87, college: Pacific) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds and swingman Hiroyuki Kikuchi (192-83) added 20 points in the effort for Takamatsu FA.
