There was a minor upset when 5th ranked Lucca (7-4) lost at home to eighth ranked Basket Parma (5-6) 57-47 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Basket Parma. Lucca was better in third quarter 16-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Lucca to just 6 points in first quarter. Basket Parma held Lucca to an opponent 21.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 38.6 percent accuracy of the winners. Basket Parma had a 30-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. Brazilian guard Adriana Moises Pinto (169-78) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 7 rebounds.
