Rather expected game when 5th ranked Taiwan Mobile (3-5) lost to third ranked Yulon Luxgen (6-4) 70-83 on Sunday. Yulon Luxgen trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-70. Yulon Luxgen made 25-of-29 free shots (86.2 percent) during the game. Taiwan Mobile was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Kevin Johnson (201-84, college: Humboldt St., agency: Hart Sports Mngm) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international swingman Shih-Yuan Chou (188-83) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Four Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. American forward Dennis Carr (201-81, college: Embry Riddle, agency: TSS Management) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and international point guard Yi-Chieh Su (181-87) added 15 points in the effort for Taiwan Mobile. Taiwan Mobile's coach Chia Fan rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Yulon Luxgen maintains third position with 6-4 record behind leader Dacin Tigers. Taiwan Mobile at the other side keeps the fifth place with five games lost. Yulon Luxgen will face Taiwan Beer (#4) in the next round. Taiwan Mobile will play against the league's second-placed Pure Youth.
