Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Sea Hawks (1-7) lost to sixth ranked Tigers (3-4) in St.John's, NL 82-92 on Sunday. Tigers looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Guard Stephen Lopez (188, college: Bossier-Parish CC) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Cameroonian forward William Yengue (193) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Center Jason Shepherd (193-89) replied with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Mark Woodland (183-87) added 20 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Sea Hawks. Five Tigers and four Sea Hawks players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tigers maintains sixth position with 3-4 record. Sea Hawks lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
