There was no surprise when 10th ranked Norrkoping BK (2-9) was outleveled on the road by second ranked Nassjo (11-2) 90-60 on Sunday. The game without a history. Nassjo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Norrkoping BK's 38. Nassjo forced 21 Norrkoping BK turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a very good performance for forward Mathias Liljeqvist (196-92) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American power forward Robert Boss (201-87, college: Spring Arbor) contributed with 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Niklas Rydgren (-88) answered with 23 points and 8 rebounds and guard Robertino Duric (-92) added 4 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Norrkoping BK. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Nassjo have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain second place in South with 11-2 record behind leader Eagles. Norrkoping BK at the other side keeps the tenth position with nine games lost. Nassjo will face Solna Branten (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Norrkoping BK will play against Brahe Basket in Huskvarna.
