Regular Season Round 4: Bank of Taiwan - Pure Youth 65-85

Everything went according to plan when second ranked Pure Youth (6-3) outplayed bottom-ranked Bank of Taiwan (1-7) 85-65 on Sunday. The game without a history. Pure Youth led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Pure Youth outrebounded Bank of Taiwan 44-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Quincy Davis (206-83, college: Tulane) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Chi-Hao Ke (181-85) contributed with 11 points and 7 assists for the winners. American power forward John Vaudreuil (203-85, college: Minn.-Duluth, agency: Warren Sports International) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Chih-Chiang Hsu (194-82) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Bank of Taiwan. Four Bank of Taiwan players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pure Youth have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 6-3 record behind leader Dacin Tigers. Bank of Taiwan lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with seven games lost. Pure Youth will face Taiwan Mobile (#6) in the next round. Bank of Taiwan will play against Yulon Luxgen.
