The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Bari as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Bari edged 6th ranked Anagni at home 71-69. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Anagni won third quarter 21-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
