The game had a very big importance for second-ranked S. La Spezia as it allowed them to take a leadership position in South. S. La Spezia defeated leader Ragusa at home 81-73. The hosts were ahead by 1 point but lost the second period ending it with a 4-point deficit before their 27-15 run, which allowed them to win the game. S. La Spezia forced 20 Ragusa turnovers. Ragusa was plagued by 33 personal fouls down the stretch. Serbian forward Marija Micovic (183-82, agency: Players Group) nailed 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and guard Sara De Scalzi (176-83) accounted for 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four S.
