Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Helsingborg (5-7) outplayed at home 9th ranked Fryshuset (4-10) 98-46 on Sunday. The game without a history. Helsingborg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Fryshuset to just 6 points in third quarter. Helsingborg dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Fryshuset's 30 and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Helsingborg forced 32 Fryshuset turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a very good performance for swingman Jonas Christensen (194-78) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 6 rebounds. Naturalized Bosnian forward Srdjan Vukovic (197-86) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Helsingborg players scored in double figures. Helsingborg's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Erik Jakobsson (215-88) answered with 6 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Nathan Dawit (192-94) added 5 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Fryshuset. Helsingborg maintains sixth place in South with 5-7 record. Fryshuset lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with ten games lost. Helsingborg will face higher ranked Srbija (#3) in Malmo in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
