Regular Season Round 14: NSH GMC Riau - Bimasakti 69-78

Rather expected game when 11th ranked NSH GMC Riau (1-8) lost at home to ninth ranked Bima Sakti (3-5) 78-69. The guests were already 13 points ahead at halftime and as many as 20 after three quarters before a 24-13 last quarter charge of NSH GMC Riau cut the lead to 78-69 at the end of the game. Bima Sakti forced 28 NSH GMC Riau turnovers. Strangely NSH GMC Riau outrebounded Bima Sakti 40-24 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Yanuar Dwi Priasmoro (178-89) scored 30 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Bima Rizky Ardiansyah (182-90) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Center Max Yanto (215-83) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Reza Israelli (182-82) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bima Sakti moved-up to eighth place. NSH GMC Riau lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
