The game in St.Catharines, ON was also quite interesting. Third ranked Marauders (9-3) played at the court of 5th ranked Badgers (7-5). Marauders defeated Badgers 103-91 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 14-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 103-91. Marauders made 28-of-33 free shots (84.8 percent) during the game. Badgers were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for guard Victor Raso (193) who led his team to a victory with 29 points and 5 rebounds (went 14 for 14 at the free throw line !!!). Nathan Mccarthy contributed with 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Forward Tshing Kasamba (196) answered with 19 points and 6 rebounds and guard Andrew Kraus (188-86) added 11 points and 9 assists in the effort for Badgers. Four Marauders and five Badgers players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Marauders maintains third place with 9-3 record having just three points less than leader Lakehead, which they share with Windsor. Badgers lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
