Important game to mention about took place in Milano. Benetton Treviso made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Armani Milano was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by naturalized Slovenian guard Sani Becirovic (196-81) who scored that evening 23 points and Austrian power forward Benjamin Ortner (206-83, college: Metro St.) supported him with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds by international forward Stefano Mancinelli (203-83) did not help to save the game for Armani Milano. Swingman Alessandro Gentile (197-92) added 14 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Five Armani Milano players scored in double figures. Armani Milano's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Benetton Treviso moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Fabi Shoes. Armani Milano at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. They share it with CS Bologna. Benetton Treviso will play against Vanoli-Braga (#15) in Cremona in the next round.
