No shocking result in a game when second ranked Windsor (9-2) smashed at home 8th ranked Waterloo (1-10) 91-41 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Windsor led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Waterloo to just 6 points in third quarter and to 14 points in second half. Windsor dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Waterloo's 24. Windsor forced 29 Waterloo turnovers and outrebounded them 47-26 including a 31-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Waterloo's players. The best player for the winners was French forward Jessica Clemencon (188-89) who scored 26 points and 9 rebounds. point guard Miah-Marie Langlois (176-91) chipped in 13 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Forward Sam McIntyre (178) produced 6 points and 5 rebounds and guard Laura Burnett (173) added 6 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Windsor have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-2 record behind leader Ottawa. Waterloo lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with ten games lost. Windsor will face league's leader Brock in Catharines in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
