No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Bobcats (5-7) beat 14th ranked Wesmen (3-9) in Brandon, MB 70-56 on Thursday. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 39-23 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Bobcats forced 19 Wesmen turnovers. It was a good game for forward Donovan Gayle (193) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Ali Mounir contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Bobcats players scored in double figures. Forward Mark McNee (198) answered with 17 points and 7 rebounds and guard Dominique Brown (193) added 13 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Wesmen. Wesmen's coach tested eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bobcats moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Wesmen lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with nine games lost. Bobcats will face again Wesmen (#13) in Winnipeg, MB in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
