Very important is a home loss of third ranked Barca Regal II (7-5) against twelfth ranked Feve Oviedo (4-8) on Friday night. Host Barca Regal II was defeated by Feve Oviedo in a tough game in Barcelona 75-81. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Barca Regal II won fourth quarter 28-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Forward Hector Macia (198-77) nailed 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and American forward Bryan LeDuc (203, college: CS San Bernar.) accounted for 18 points and 5 rebounds. Senegalese center Papa Mbaye (209-90) came up with 19 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Lluis Costa (186-93) added 15 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for Barca Regal II in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Barca Regal II's coach Borja Comenge rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Feve Oviedo moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Gandia Basquet. Barca Regal II lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with Las Rozas and Coruna. Feve Oviedo will play against Tenerife (#12) on the road in the next round. Barca Regal II will play against Plasencia Extremadura (#13) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
