A very interesting game took place in Comodoro R.. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of higher ranked La Union (6-7) to fifteenth ranked GECR Indalo (4-9) 87-86 on Friday evening. La Union cut a 22-point halftime deficit to one at the end of the game. GECR Indalo made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded La Union 35-24 including 24 on the defensive glass. The former international forward Roberto Gabini (198-75, agency: Interperformances) nailed 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and American forward Edward Nelson (203-82, college: Connecticut, agency: Dream Team Management) accounted for 13 points and 12 rebounds. The former international forward Gabriel Mikulas (201-80, college: E.Carolina, agency: Interperformances) came up with 18 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Joe Smith (193-77, college: Al.-Huntsville, agency: Priority Sports) added 12 points and 6 assists respectively for La Union in the defeat.
