Regular Season Round 15: Hawks - Taipans 59-61

Date: January 13, 2012
No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Cairns Taipans (9-7) edged bottom-ranked Wollongong Hawks (3-12) in Gwynneville 61-59 on Friday. The guests trailed by 12 points at the halftime before their 25-8 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Cairns Taipans will face Adelaide 36ers (#8) in Findon in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Wollongong Hawks will play on the road against Townsville Crocodiles in Wulguru.
