There was a surprise result in Winnipeg, MB where fourteenth ranked Wesmen (3-9) beat higher ranked Bobcats (5-7) 66-61 on Friday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Guard Andrew Cunningham (186, college: Redlands CC) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Forward Mark McNee (198) chipped in 17 points and 4 steals (made all of his seven free throws). Four Wesmen players scored in double figures. Wesmen's coach Mike Raimbault used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Donovan Gayle (193) produced 20 points and 8 rebounds and forward Jordan Reaves added 8 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Wesmen moved-up to thirteenth place. Loser Bobcats dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
