Very important is a road loss of third ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (14-8) against twelfth ranked Jilin Tigers (10-13) on Friday night. Visiting Zhejiang Guangsha Lions were crushed by Jilin Tigers in Changchun 93-74. The game was mostly controlled by Jilin Tigers. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions was better in fourth quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Jilin Tigers forced 19 Zhejiang Guangsha Lions turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Jordanian guard Osama Daghles (198-79, college: Midwestern St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and American power forward Jameel Watkins (211-77, college: Georgetown) who added 19 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. Five Jilin Tigers players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American-Puerto Rican center Peter John Ramos (222-85) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 19 rebounds and Taiwanese guard Chih-Chieh Lin (192-82) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jilin Tigers have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Qingdao DS. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth position with eight games lost. Jilin Tigers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will play on the road against Liaoning Hunters (#5) in Yingkou and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
