There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Fujian SBS XunXin (12-11) lost to eleventh ranked Qingdao Double Star (10-13) in Jinjiang 104-110 on Friday. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 30-21 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Qingdao Double Star made 25-of-31 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American guard Lester Hudson (191-84, college: Tenn-Martin) who led his team to a victory with a triple-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists. Forward Gen Li (196-88) contributed with 25 points for the winners. Five Qingdao Double Star players scored in double figures. American guard Anthony Roberson (188-83, college: Florida) replied with 30 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import center Will McDonald (211-79, college: S.Florida) added 32 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Fujian SBS XunXin. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Qingdao Double Star maintains eleventh position with 10-13 record, which they share with Jilin NE T. Loser Fujian SBS XunXin keeps the eighth place with 11 games lost. Qingdao Double Star will face higher ranked Xinjiang Flying Tige (#10) in Urumqi in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
