Regular Season Round 15: Brock - Windsor 55-83

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Brock (10-2) in Catharines on Friday night. Hosts were rolled over by Windsor (10-2) 83-55. It was a key game for the top position in the league as both teams had the same 9-2 record before this meeting. The game was mostly controlled by Windsor. Brock managed to win third quarter 16-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Brock 48-27 including a 32-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for French forward Jessica Clemencon (188-89) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. point guard Miah-Marie Langlois (176-91) helped adding 15 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals. Four Windsor players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Nicole Rosenkranz (185) with 17 points and guard Sarah Mallen (173) scored 12 points. Brock's coach Si Khounviseth gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Windsor have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with defeated Brock. Windsor is looking forward to face McMaster (#5) in Hamilton in the next round. Brock will play at home against Western (#6) in London and is hoping to win this game.
