Everything went according to plan when second ranked Saint-Quentin (12-4) outscored on the road 11th ranked Chartres (8-8) 86-62. The game without a history. Saint-Quentin led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Quite impressive performance for American guard Keonta Howell (193-85, college: Toledo) who helped to win the game recording 29 points (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). The other American import forward Darnell Williams (200-78, college: San Jose St., agency: David Lee services) contributed with 11 points for the winners. Four Saint-Quentin players scored in double figures. Serbian center Ljubomir Avramovic (201-79) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds and forward Guillaume Merie (198-83) added 12 points in the effort for Chartres. Chartres' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Saint-Quentin maintains second position with 12-4 record behind leader Charleville. Newly promoted Chartres keeps the eleventh place with eight games lost. Saint-Quentin's next round opponent will be Etendard de Brest (#10) at home and are hoping to win another game. Chartres will play against Blois.
