Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Kronos AD (4-9) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Panathinaikos (8-5) 70-62 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 32-23 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. American power forward Diana Delva (188, college: Hartford) fired 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Guard Katerina Spathari (172-81) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. Forward Maria Michou (182-83) produced 17 points and 8 rebounds and Serbian power forward Milena Vukicevic (188-80) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. The victory was the third consecutive win for Panathinaikos. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Asteras. Kronos AD lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the eighth position with nine games lost. They share it with Aris and PAOK. Panathinaikos will meet at home FEA Neas (#6) in the next round. Kronos AD will play against Apollon Ptol. in Ptolemaida and hope to secure a win.
