Regular Season Round 14: LF Future - Blackeberg 82-76
Date: January 14, 2012
Very expected game when 6th ranked KFUM Blackebergs (8-7) lost to second ranked LF Future (11-3) in Lulea 76-82 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. KFUM Blackebergs were trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 27-17 charge of LF Future, which allowed them to win the game. Naturalized Iraqi forward Samir Ali Hussein (198-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Daniel Eliasson (189-92) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four LF Future players scored in double figures. Center Nicklas Bergstrom (205-78) replied with 30 points and 5 rebounds and forward Mikael Walden (198) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for KFUM Blackebergs. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. LF Future have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted LF Future maintains second position in North with 11-3 record having just three points less than leader Malbas, which they share with Taby. KFUM Blackebergs at the other side keep the sixth place with seven games lost. LF Future will face Akropol (#4) in Spanga in the next round.
