Rather expected game when 4th placed Blues (5-7) were smashed by leader Ravens (12-0) in Toronto, ON 98-64 on Saturday. The game without a history. Ravens led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Ravens outrebounded Blues 45-18 including a 33-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 57.7 percentage. International guard Philip Scrubb (194-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points. Forward Thomas Scrubb (196) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Forward Alex Hill (196, college: Cornell) answered with 31 points and Arun Kumar (183) added 16 points in the effort for Blues. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the twelfth consecutive win for Ravens. They maintain first place with 12-0 record. Loser Blues dropped to the third position with seven games lost. Ravens' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Ottawa, ON to the arena Gee-Gees.
