Mann Filter (10-4) outlasted Perfumerias Avenida (12-2) in overtime by six points 72-66 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Perfumerias Avenida. The hosts trailed by 9 points at the halftime before their 25-15 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 13-7. International guard Cristina Ouvina (174-90) had a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Bulgarian forward Jaklin Zlatanova (190-88) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Mann Filter players scored in double figures. Mann Filter's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Brazilian center Erika De Souza (197-82, agency: Josep and Nicolas) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and the former international forward Marta Fernandez (178-81) scored 16 points. They have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Mann Filter moved-up to third place, which they share with Rivas Ecopolis. Perfumerias Avenida at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. Mann Filter will face Navarra Pamplona (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Perfumerias Avenida will play against Gran Canaria (#8) in Las Palmas.
