There was an upset when higher ranked Muggia (9-5) was edged at home by ninth ranked Marghera (6-7) 56-55 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 20-11 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Marghera forced 23 Muggia turnovers. The best player for the winners was swingman Marta Granzotto (176-92) who scored 14 points and 6 steals. Guard Greta Brunelli (176-90) chipped in 19 points. Guard Lara Cumbat (177-88) produced 18 points and 8 rebounds and guard Annalisa Borroni (183-83) added 10 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts.
