We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Soller where 6th ranked Joventud Mariana (8-6) was crushed by seventh ranked Cadi la Seu (8-6) 83-53 on Saturday. The game without a history. Cadi la Seu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Joventud Mariana's 22. Cadi la Seu forced 24 Joventud Mariana turnovers. Irish-Canadian center Margaret De Ciman (200-84) scored 21 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Adrianne Ross (173-84, college: TCU, agency: Merit Sports) chipped in 15 points and 4 steals during the contest. Four Cadi la Seu players scored in double figures. Hungarian center Andrea Hajdune Csaszar (200-82, college: Kent St., agency: Josep and Nicolas) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 20 rebounds and guard Gabriela Ocete (170-88) scored 11 points. Cadi la Seu moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Mariana. Joventud Mariana lost third consecutive game. Cadi la Seu will face higher ranked Argon Uni Girona (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
