Important game to mention about took place in Catharines. Sixth ranked Western (5-7) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging much higher ranked Brock (10-3) 69-66 on Saturday evening. Brock was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Laura Dally (180-92) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Lacey Knox (183) contributed with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Forward Nicole Rosenkranz (185) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and guard Andrea Polischuk (180) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Brock. Brock's coach Si Khounviseth rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Western moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Brock at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Western will play against league's leader Windsor at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Brock will play against Waterloo and hopes to get back on the winning track.
