Regular Season Round 25: Zhejiang CB - Jiangsu D. 116-93

Sixth ranked Zhejiang Cyclones (13-9) crushed at home 15th ranked Jiangsu Dragons (7-17) by 23 points 116-93, which is the biggest margin this round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Jiangsu Dragons. The game without a history. Zhejiang Cyclones led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Jiangsu Dragons' 50. Zhejiang Cyclones forced 20 Jiangsu Dragons turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Josh Boone (208-84, college: Connecticut) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds. His fellow American import guard J.R. Smith (198-85) contributed with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. Four Zhejiang Cyclones players scored in double figures. International swingman Li Yi (203-85) answered with 33 points (!!!) and American-Lebanese power forward Jackson Vroman (208-81, college: Iowa St.) added 25 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Jiangsu Dragons. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Zhejiang Cyclones maintains sixth place with 13-9 record. Jiangsu Dragons at the other side keep the fifteenth position with 17 games lost. Zhejiang Cyclones' next round opponent will be higher ranked Beijing Ducks (#3) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
