Very predictable result when sixth ranked Lanus (9-5) won against 11th ranked Wuber-Est.Bahia (5-8) in Buenos Aires 79-75. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Wuber-Est.Bahia won third quarter 21-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was Panamanian power forward Jamaal Levy (206-83, college: Wake Forest, agency: Priority Sports) who scored 7 points and 11 rebounds. The former international guard Mariano Byro (195-82) chipped in 15 points. International guard Juan Ignacio Sanchez (193-77, college: Temple) produced 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Puerto Rican power forward Ricardo Sanchez (212-87) added 13 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the guests.
