Regular Season Round 25: Fujian QB - Shandong FB 116-95

Not a big story in a game in Jinjiang where 13th ranked Shandong Bulls (9-15) were rolled over by eighth ranked Fujian SBS XunXin (13-11) 116-95. The game was mostly controlled by Fujian SBS XunXin. Shandong Bulls was better in fourth quarter 30-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fujian SBS XunXin dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Shandong Bulls' 44. Fujian SBS XunXin players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a very good performance for Jordanian forward Zaid Abbas (203-83) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Anthony Roberson (188-83, college: Florida) contributed with 30 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Fujian SBS XunXin players scored in double figures. American swingman Alan Anderson (198-82, college: Michigan St., agency: Priority Sports) answered with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Ding Yanyuhang (200-93) added 25 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Shandong Bulls. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Fujian SBS XunXin moved-up to seventh place. Shandong Bulls lost their third game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with 15 games lost. Fujian SBS XunXin's next round opponent will be bottom-ranked Foshan (#17) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Shandong Bulls will play against Xinjiang Flying Tige (#10) in Urumqi.
