Everything went according to plan in San Sebastian where second ranked Regal FC Barcelona (13-3) beat 9th ranked Lagun Aro GBC (7-9) 71-56 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Regal FC Barcelona. Lagun Aro GBC managed to win third quarter 16-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Lagun Aro GBC to just 7 points in fourth quarter. American forward Pete Mickeal (199-78, college: Cincinnati) fired 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Brazilian-Italian point guard Marcelinho Huertas (191-83, agency: Edge Sports) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. Four Regal FC Barcelona players scored in double figures.
