Regular Season Round 15: Sparta - Heffingen 83-56

The game with biggest result difference took place in Bertrange. Local Sparta (11-4) outscored 9th ranked Heffingen (2-13) 83-56. The game without a history. Sparta led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-20 charity shots (95.0 percent) during the game. It was a quality performance for American point guard Kasey Ulin (184-82, college: Dickinson St.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 assists (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). Belgian swingman Julien Hublart (192-88) accounted for 28 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Canadian forward Billy McNutt (203-85) came up with 17 points and 8 rebounds and guard Claude Weyrich (184-86) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Heffingen in the defeat. Heffingen's coach Joao Costa gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Sparta maintains second place with 11-4 record having just two points less than leader T71. Heffingen lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom position with 13 games lost. Sparta's next round opponent will be league's leader T71 in Dudelange and it will be for sure the game of the week. Heffingen will play at home against Amicale (#3) in Steinsel.
