Top ranked S. La Spezia (10-2) recorded its second loss at the home court. Hosts were rolled over by fourth ranked C.U.S. Chieti (10-3) 77-56. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of S. La Spezia. The game was mostly controlled by C.U.S. Chieti. S. La Spezia was better in third quarter 19-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for C.U.S. Chieti especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.3 percentage. C.U.S. Chieti moved-up to third place in South, which they share with T. La Spezia. S. La Spezia at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. C.U.S. Chieti will play against Viterbo (#13) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. S. La Spezia will play against S.E.Battipaglia (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
