CIS top team - X-Men (8-2) managed to deliver another win on Wednesday. This time they beat sixth ranked Tigers (4-5) in Antigonish, NS 79-66. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Tigers. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 79-66. X-Men looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Jeremy Dunn (198) who scored 22 points. Guard Will Donkoh (185) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Stephen Lopez (188, college: Bossier-Parish CC) who recorded 14 points and 4 assists and guard Casey Fox (193) added 14 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. X-Men maintains first position with 8-2 record, which they share with UBC. Loser Tigers keep the sixth place with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
