Everything went according to plan in Formosa where tenth ranked La Union (7-8) beat 15th ranked Olimpico de La Banda (3-11) 93-83. The hosts were ahead by 3 points but lost the second period ending it with a 3-point deficit before their 29-16 run, which allowed them to win the game.
