Leader Tartu Ulikool delivered the fourteenth victory. This time they crushed 5th ranked TTU/Kalev (7-8) 78-53 in Tallinn. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of TTU/Kalev. The game without a history. Tartu Ulikool led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-19 charity shots (94.7 percent) during the game. Tartu Ulikool forced 23 TTU/Kalev turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Vallo Allingu (206-78) who helped to win the game recording 9 points and 15 rebounds. The former international swingman Marek Doronin (200-83) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Four Tartu Ulikool players scored in double figures. Tartu Ulikool's coach Indrek Visnapuu felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Andrew Arnold (208-86, college: Lewis-Clark St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and the former international power forward Kristjan Makke (205-81, college: W.Illinois) added 10 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for TTU/Kalev. Tartu Ulikool (14-1) have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position. TTU/Kalev at the other side keeps the fifth place with eight games lost. Tartu Ulikool will play against bottom-ranked KK Parnu (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. TTU/Kalev's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tallinn to the arena Tln Kalev.
