No shocking result in a game when third ranked Beijing Ducks (17-8) defeated at home 6th ranked Zhejiang Cyclones (13-10) 102-93. Zhejiang Cyclones were ahead by 5 points after three quarters before a 28-14 charge of Beijing Ducks, which allowed them to win the game. They made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. The game was dominated by American players. Guard Stephon Marbury (187-77, college: Georgia Tech) notched a triple-double by scoring 45 points (!!!), 12 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the effort and power forward Randolph Morris (211-86, college: Kentucky) supported him with 20 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks. Even 39 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds by guard J.R. Smith (198-85) did not help to save the game for Zhejiang Cyclones. Power forward Josh Boone (208-84, college: Connecticut) added 26 points and 17 rebounds for the guests. Four Zhejiang Cyclones players scored in double figures. Beijing Ducks moved-up to second place. Zhejiang Cyclones at the other side dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. Beijing Ducks' next round opponent will be Jiangsu Dragons (#16) in Nanjing which should be an easy win for them. Zhejiang Cyclones will play on the road against TianJin Rongcheng (#14) in Tianjin.
