The game in Waterloo was also quite interesting. Second ranked Brock (11-3) played at the court of 8th ranked Waterloo (1-12). Brock did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 72-55 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 72-55. Brock dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Waterloo's 26. Brock forced 20 Waterloo turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Emily McKay (170) who scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Tara Giallonardo (168) chipped in 10 points and 5 rebounds. Four Brock players scored in double figures. Guard Marti Killeen (180) produced 15 points and 7 rebounds and guard Laura Burnett (173) added 9 points respectively for the hosts.
