The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Boras Basket as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Boras Basket defeated 9th ranked KFUM Jamtland at home 93-77. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of KFUM Jamtland. The game was mostly controlled by Boras Basket. KFUM Jamtland managed to win second period 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Boras Basket made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. Boras Basket outrebounded KFUM Jamtland 44-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward Christopher McKnight (201-87, college: Akron) who scored 24 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Boras Basket's coach Pat Ryan used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American-Liberian power forward Boakai Lalugba (200-81, college: Bucknell, agency: Court Side) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and Icelandic guard Brynjar Bjornsson (191-88, college: Francis Marion) added 16 points, 5 assists and 4 steals respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. KFUM Jamtland at the other side keeps the ninth place with 14 games lost.
