There was no surprise in Montreal, QC where bottom-ranked Gaiters (0-7) were edged by third ranked Citadines (5-4) 82-79 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 44-39 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Citadines forced 19 Gaiters turnovers. Guard Eric Cote-Kougnima (193-88) fired 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Gregory Saint-Amand (193-88) chipped in 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
