No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Las Rozas (8-5) defeated at home 8th ranked Fontedoso Carrefour (6-7) 73-64 on Friday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Fontedoso Carrefour won third quarter 24-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Las Rozas dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Fontedoso Carrefour's 28. Las Rozas forced 19 Fontedoso Carrefour turnovers. Center Jose Balmon (204-81) scored 29 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Ruben Martinez (196-85) chipped in 12 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. point guard Sergio Llorente (188-90) responded with 11 points and 4 assists and power forward Adrian Laso (204-90) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds.
