The most exciting game of round 20 in the LEB Gold took place in Lleida. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 6th ranked Grupo Iruna Navarra (12-8) to seventh ranked Lleida Basquet (12-8) 74-72 in the game for the sixth place. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Grupo Iruna Navarra. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Grupo Iruna Navarra won fourth quarter 18-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American-Croatian guard Marcus Norris (185-74, college: Ball St., agency: SportsTalent) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. American-Austrian guard Jason Detrick (198-80, college: Oklahoma, agency: Court Side) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Czech center Ondrej Starosta (215-79) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and guard Inaki Narros (194-81) added 14 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Grupo Iruna Navarra. Four Grupo Iruna Navarra players scored in double figures. Lleida Basquet moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Navarra. Lleida Basquet is looking forward to face Leche Rio Breogan (#15) in Lugo in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Grupo Iruna Navarra will play at home against Palencia Baloncesto (#10) and is hoping to win this game.
