Regular Season Round 24: Eco Orebro - Norrkoping 64-74

Bottom-ranked Eco Orebro (0-24) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 74-64 loss to third ranked Norrkoping Dolphins (14-9) in Orebro. Eco Orebro was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. It was a good game for American guard Andrew Mitchell (181-79, college: Kent St.) who led his team to a victory with 16 points. Lithuanian center Petras Balocka (205-86, college: Hawaii) contributed with 11 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Norrkoping Dolphins' coach Paul Burke allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Demond Watt (200-89, college: Texas A&M-CC) replied with 20 points and guard Brandon Barton (192-88) added 16 points in the effort for Eco Orebro. Defending champion maintains third position with 14-9 record behind leader Sodertalje, which they share with LF Basket. Eco Orebro at the other side still closes the standings. Norrkoping Dolphins will play against LF Basket (#4) in Lulea in the next round. Eco Orebro will play at home against LF Basket (#4) in Lulea and hopes to get finally their first victory.
