Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Hoganas (11-3) outscored at home 9th ranked Fryshuset (4-11) 97-56 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Hoganas. Fryshuset was better in second period 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hoganas dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Fryshuset's 32. Hoganas forced 29 Fryshuset turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Fryshuset's players. It was a great evening for Lithuanian forward Nerijus Strazdauskas (198-84) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points, 8 assists and 5 steals. Lithuanian power forward Linas Savickas (197-79) helped adding 13 points and 10 rebounds. Five Hoganas players scored in double figures. Hoganas' coach Nerijus Strazdauskas felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The best for the losing side was forward Nathan Dawit (192-94) with 22 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and Alexander Adersteg (-89) scored 8 points and 6 rebounds. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Hoganas. They moved-up to third place in South. Fryshuset lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 11 games lost. Hoganas will face Norrkoping BK (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Fryshuset will play against Srbija in Malmo.
