Everything went according to plan when top-ranked Ravens (15-0) outplayed bottom-ranked RMC (0-14) in Ottawa, ON 120-38 on Saturday. The game without a history. Ravens led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding RMC to just 3 points in third quarter and to 10 points in second half. Ravens dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to RMC's 14. They outrebounded RMC 53-10 including a 24-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Ravens shot the lights out from three sinking 21 long-distance shots on high 51.2 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by RMC's players. Forward Dan Penner (201) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Justin Shaver (198-92) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Ravens players scored in double figures. Alexandre Lavoie replied with 11 points and guard James Byun (185) added 11 points in the effort for RMC. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ravens have an impressive 15-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 15-0 record. Loser RMC still closes the standings with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
