The game in Shimane supposed to be also quite interesting. 5th ranked Shinshu BW (11-14) played at the court of sixth ranked Shimane Magic (14-11). Shimane Magic did not have too big problems ending evening with a very confident victory 83-66 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Shinshu BW. The game without a history. Shimane Magic led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Shinshu BW's 42. Shimane Magic forced 22 Shinshu BW turnovers. The game was dominated by American players. Forward Michael Parker (202-81, college: Evergreen St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Forward Reggie Golson (201-81, college: SE Missouri St., agency: Court Side) contributed with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Shimane Magic players scored in double figures. Shimane Magic's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Derek Raivio (190-84, college: Gonzaga, agency: Priority Sports) answered with 23 points and forward Tyler Hughes (213-84, college: Kansas St.) added 12 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Shinshu BW. Shimane Magic maintains sixth place with 14-11 record which they share with defeated Shinshu BW. Loser Shinshu BW dropped to the sixth position with 14 games lost. Shimane Magic will face again Shinshu BW (#6) in Nagano in the next round.
