There was no surprise when 9th ranked Wolfpack (5-9) was outleveled by fourth ranked Huskies (9-4) in Saskatoon, SK 92-55 on Saturday. The game without a history. Huskies led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Wolfpack's 32. Huskies forced 24 Wolfpack turnovers. Wolfpack was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American point guard Jamelle Barrett (180) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. International forward Michael Lieffers (203-87) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Four Huskies players scored in double figures. Guard Kevin Pribilsky (180) replied with 12 points and forward Chas Kok (196) added 7 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Wolfpack. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Huskies have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 9-4 record. Wolfpack lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
