There was no surprise in Valencia where 10th ranked Gandia Basquet (4-9) was defeated by seventh ranked Leyma Basquet (8-5) 69-62 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 69-62. Bahamas guard Dynile Forbes (188-86, college: La-Monroe) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Xavier Lopez (191-83, college: Point Loma) chipped in 13 points during the contest. Leyma Basquet's coach Antonio Perez allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Anthony jr. Oha (198-83, college: Prairie View A&M) responded with 15 points and point guard Javier Manuel Alvarado (183-85) scored 8 points and 6 assists. Leyma Basquet moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Gandia Basquet dropped to the eleventh position with nine games lost.
